C2GRID Closes Funding Round to Scale Its Breakthrough Real-Time Battlefield Intelligence Platform
C2GRID, a geospatial awareness, analytics, and decision-support platform built to give military operators rapid, accurate understanding of complex environments, has closed its pre-seed investment round with new participation from BSV Ventures and angel investor Mike Oliinyk. The round was led by Sunfish Partners.
With the new funding, C2GRID will focus on maturing the product and aims to launch the first version of its platform in January 2026.

Angel investor Mike Oliinyk also joined the round, bringing experience from successful global startups such as Uber, Wise, and Wolt, as well as deep product and scaling expertise that strengthens the company’s development.
Together with Ukrainian frontline units, C2GRID is continually improving its near real-time 3D geospatial platform, converting ordinary video, including drone footage, into actionable multilayered environments that support situational awareness, mission planning, and faster decision-making across defence and security operations. The core breakthrough capability is the method by which the system turns frontline video into accurate, near real-time 3D operational environments — previously, this would have required far more complex equipment and processing.
C2GRID continues to co-develop and test its system with Ukrainian and Estonian defence organisations. In parallel, the team is exploring broader civilian applications for its technology, including emergency response, infrastructure monitoring, and industrial inspection, where rapid 3D reconstruction and fused multilayer data environments can dramatically improve operational efficiency.
